After Independence, as India’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, Sardar Patel undertook the monumental task of integrating more than 560 princely states into the Indian Union through a blend of diplomacy, persuasion, and firm resolve. His vision, determination, and statesmanship laid the foundation of a united, stable, and strong India, making his contributions indispensable to the nation’s history.
